Leather cleaning and care:
- Gently brush the leather in the opposite direction to the grain.
- Next, use our rubber brush to eliminate any dirt that may have stuck to the surface (without applying too much pressure).
- Moisten a soft, natural sponge and apply the Lottusse shampoo to it. Make gentle, circular movements with the sponge on the surface.
- Leave to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Brush the leather in the opposite direction to the grain.
- We also recommend applying polish to enhance protection and durability.

Types of slipper

Currently we find two easily identified types of slipper on the market: Opera Pumps and Alberts. We can easily distinguish between them from the following features:

- Opera Pumps: These are made from black patent leather and have rivets and a bow at the top of the vamp (both made of grosgrain). These details are added to match the silk lapels of the dinner jacket and the bow tie.

- Alberts: They have a closed heel and are named after Queen Victoria's consort. Both models retain the comfortable but chic essence of slippers. They are also really easy to put on and take off.

How to combine men's slippers

As it is such stylish footwear, it must be highlighted in your outfit. One of the best ways to wear slippers is with trousers that reveal your ankles. It is also important to choose basic, timeless garments such as shirts and raincoats, to give prominence to your slippers.
